Why an invented town rather than real clients?
Nobody real gets impersonated: every name, address and phone number belongs to a town that does not exist, on the numbers Ofcom reserves for drama, and every site is kept out of search so it can never compete with a real business. The search work is still real — schema, address consistency and a service radius, all correct, just describing somewhere fictional. And twelve businesses on one high street show the same studio solving twelve different problems, which a folder of unrelated mockups does not.
